Our organization formed in Sept 2018 after a similar organization closed, when several of the dedicated staff members were determined to carry on their mission to help previously incarcerated women and men navigate the process from release to successful reintegration into the community.

About Us - Our Purpose
The purpose of Boston Project Rebound is to meet the service needs of previously incarcerated women and men as they navigate the process from release to successful reintegration into community living through Peer Navigator Services. Boston Project Rebound anticipates that women and men going through reentry will experience culture shock while coming back into the community, including learning about new technologies and resources such as cellphones and smartphones, computers, social media and many other changes. Boston Project Rebound understands that many returning women and men require help in navigating the complex and fragmented community-based systems to obtain identification materials, transportation support, Department of Correction and court registrations, shelter, housing, financial assistance, food assistance, health and mental health care, addiction recovery programs, peer support, family reunification services, training and education programs, and finding and maintaining employment, among other support needs.
